This opening exhibit for the new facility of the Mebane Historical Museum features selected photos, primarily from the 1930s and 40s, that tell the story of Mebane's early prosperity and growth. From the coming of the train that put Mebane on the map, to the industries that were the mainstays of the town's livelihood and growth, these photos highlight the businesses, entertainment, and special events that have made Mebane "the biggest little town on Earth."
